Stained Glass Design & Creation

Hey there!

I’m Charles Ottolini, and I’ve been designing and building stained glass windows for over 40 years and am still loving the creative process. Every artwork created is designed specifically for your space, your taste, and your vision.

What sparks your imagination?

If it’s a vibrant panel for your entryway, a serene window for your favorite nook, or something bold and unexpected for a commercial venue, I’m here to help bring your ideas to light. Worship spaces benefit  from the uplifting and spiritual ambiance created by carefully designed and executed windows, whether contemporary or traditional in nature. Our work is a blend of old-world craftsmanship and soulful  design, with a bit of that free-spirited bohemian flair…..although I can be serious if the need arises!

Over the years, weve had the pleasure of working with homeowners, designers, architects, and sacred  spaces. We’ve created everything from subtle glass accents to large-scale installations that become the  heartbeat of a room. The ambiance and mood of a space is completely transformed after stained glass is installed. It’s magical!

Curious about the next step? Let’s talk! Design is an evolutionary process, and together we will create  an atmosphere that will transform your environment.

Use the form below to get in touch or send me a message. My phone number is somewhere around  here, so give me a call if that’s your preferred mode of contact. I’d love to hear what you’re  envisioning.

Frequently Asked questions

How does the custom process work?

It all starts with a conversation. We’ll talk about your space, your style, and what kind of feeling you  want the glass to bring to the room. The initial sketches will attempt to bring into focus your desires. As we proceed, design refinement, colors, and textures will be addressed.

We do require a design deposit for all collaborations. This covers the time spent on sketches and design development and is credited toward your final payment. The amount depends on the complexity and  scope of the project.

Depending on the size and complexity of the artwork, and our current queue, most projects take  anywhere from 8 to 16 weeks after the design is approved. We can provide a realistic timeline during  our initial conversation. Having said that, we will attempt to work with shorter timelines if our schedule allows for flexibility.

Yes, we do. Artworks are carefully crated and shipped across the U.S. We can also provide delivery  and/or on-site installation. Crating and freight charges are additional to the project cost.

Every piece is unique, so pricing depends on size, detail, and the type of glass used. After we discuss  your vision, I can offer a price range for your project. The final artwork pricing will be presented in a

proposal which will serve as a contract for the work. It will include a sketch of the artwork, any  installation or framing requirements, and a payment schedule, so there are no surprises.

Absolutely. I’ve got decades of experience working in traditional styles like Tiffany, Prairie, Gothic,  and Victorian. Blending those influences with a more contemporary flair opens a world of possibilities,  as well..

Yes, we enjoy working on commercial projects and collaborating with architects and interior designers.  Whether it requires replicating branding elements or creating an artistic focal point, I’m all in.

Once we’ve finalized the design and you’re ready to move forward, a 50% deposit secures your spot in  our schedule. The remaining balance, less the design credit, is due upon pick up, installation, or  delivery.

We accept credit cards with a 3.25% processing fee, which is charged by the credit card company.  Venmo and PayPal are also accepted, and any fees from those services will be added to the total.

If you’d rather skip digital fees, a check is just fine. And since I’m not likely to start your project the  very next day, a few days in the mail won’t slow things down. Cash is always welcome.

All commissioned work picked up or delivered within Tennessee is subject to state and local sales  tax. If we are shipping or delivering your artwork out of state, no tax is charged.

Easy. Just reach out through the contact form or send me an email to set up a consultation. We can also  chat by phone or email, whichever works best for you.

And while you’re here, go ahead and sign up for my newsletter. You’ll get behind-the-scenes looks at  my work, early access to class updates, and the occasional peek at what’s going on in the studio. We  love email addresses around here.
